Our new manager began his tenure at the training ground on Monday morning and has notably been arriving early each day,

and leaving late to ensure everything is meticulously prepared for his group.

With a keen eye for detail,

Ten Hag plays an active role in all sessions alongside his assistants Mitchell van der Gaag and Steve McClaren.

Our videos so far this week have highlighted how the Dutchman is often in conversation with his players, offering instructions and advice.

Erik is working with a group that comprises of established senior players like David De Gea,

They are mixed with fledgling Academy players such as Alvaro Fernandez, Will Fish, Zidane Iqbal, Charlie Savage and Alejandro Garnacho, to name a few.

LOOKING TO NEXT WEEK

Many of our senior players are still enjoying their summer breaks after taking part in various international fixtures earlier this month.

They are to join the squad at Carrington next week.

Those returning Reds will all begin their pre-seasons with rounds of medical testing,

as is protocol, before joining the main group out on the training pitches.

Ten Hag is currently getting to know our squad and he is assessing each player with an open mind.

The experienced Dutchman has already stated they all have an opportunity to impress him this summer.

Significantly, Erik and his coaching staff are considering our travelling squad for Tour 2022.

That group of players will depart from Manchester Airport on Friday 8 July, for a trip that will visit Thailand and Australia.
